The mission of the City of Oberlin Recreation and Parks division is to improve the quality of life for all residents of the Oberlin community by providing equal opportunity for a wide variety of leisure and cultural activities, special events, facilities and services. This will include active and passive, structured and unstructured recreational opportunities. These will encourage health, fitness, relaxation and enjoyment as well as a broad appreciation for our diverse community and the unique natural systems that we share. Our purpose is to work cooperatively with other appropriate entities to provide recreational opportunities for the members of our community.
