Discover Common Ground Center

At Common Ground, we spark curiosity, connection, and growth through hands-on outdoor education and experience-based programming. Nestled on 30 acres in Oberlin, Ohio, we offer summer camps, nature adventures, team-building, SEL (social-emotional learning), anti-bullying initiatives, and canopy tours — all designed to help youth and adults learn, lead, and explore.

What We Do:

• Camps & Day Programs — immersive nature experiences where campers discover wildlife, ecology, and themselves

• Team Building & Leadership — adventure-based challenges that strengthen communication, trust, and collaboration

• SEL & Character Programs — tools, curricula, and experiences that build empathy, resilience, emotional awareness, and healthy relationships

• Adventure & Canopy Tours — zipline, tree climbing, and outdoor excursions that combine thrill with respect for nature
