Free fishing event for mental health awareness in Lorain on June 27, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon at Finger Pier next to Hot Waters, 1104 W. 1st St., Lorain, OH

Join us for a free day of fishing! The MHARS Board of Lorain County is proud to be teaming up with Life Side Ohio, the Lorain County Suicide Prevention Coalition, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, and the City of Lorain to do something fun, like fishing and talking about mental health awareness. In addition to fishing, you can also get free ice cream, then afterward walk over to the Lorain International Festival!

We supply all the fishing gear, fish, and bait; just bring the whole family! Hope to see you there!
