New to OberlinKids? We’re glad you’re here!

We are your “go-to” for all things kids in Oberlin.

Readiness is not just the ABCs and 123s. It is supporting the whole child in building a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

OberlinKids is a community collaborative made up of hundreds of local organizations, educators, service providers, and family partners working together to ensure all children entering the Oberlin City School District are healthy and ready to learn. OberlinKids provides families with free play-based learning opportunities, literacy resources, family-friendly community events, school readiness check-ins, and personalized connections to trusted local partners. By working together, the collaborative helps reduce barriers, strengthen early childhood systems, empower families, and create a more connected community for our families.
