Exciting news for the littlest Phoenixes! Oberlin City Schools is officially accepting applications for preschool and kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year.
Whether your child is ready to take their first steps into the classroom or join our vibrant preschool community, now is the time to secure their spot. You can find all the enrollment details and required forms on the district website or by visiting the Board of Education office.
Oberlin Schools Kindergarten Registration
Begins February 23, 2026
Children enrolled must be 5 by August 31, 2026
Visit www.oberlinschools.net/parental-resources for registration materials or pick them up at the Board of Education office, Oberlin Elementary School, or the Oberlin Public Library after February 23th.
Look for orientation and screening information beginning August 2026. Only those who have completed the entire registration process will be contacted about orientation and screening.
Open enrollment applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, according to space. Approval for one child in a family does not guarantee approval for siblings.
March 30, 2026 - Open Enrollment applications available May 29, 2026 - Open Enrollment application DEADLINE 3:00 pm.
