Exciting news for the littlest Phoenixes! Oberlin City Schools is officially accepting applications for preschool and kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year.
Whether your child is ready to take their first steps into the classroom or join our vibrant preschool community, now is the time to secure their spot. You can find all the enrollment details and required forms on the district website or by visiting the Board of Education office.
Oberlin Schools Preschool Registration
Begins February 23, 2026
We offer 2 programs:
Integrated Preschool Program
Class Size: Maximum of 8 students on Individualized Education Plans and 8 peer models per session.
Classroom Staff: Intervention Specialist and Paraprofessional ● Cost: Peer models fee is based on income ● School Day: 8:30am-11:15am Monday – Friday (AM Session) 12:45pm-3:20pm Monday – Friday (PM Session) ● Age: 3 and 4-year-olds (by August 1, 2026)
Related Services: Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, School Psychologist
Early Childhood Education (ECE) Grant Program
Class Size: 20 students
Classroom Staff: Preschool Teacher and Paraprofessional
Cost: Covered by ECE Grant (income eligible)
School Day: 8:30am-3:20pm Monday – Friday
Age: 4 years old by August 1, 2026, must be toilet trained
Tentative Activities: Library, Music, Spanish & Physical Education
