2026 Oberlin Chalk Walk Kids Zone

OberlinKids will host the Kids Zone at the 2026 Oberlin Chalk Walk on Saturday, June 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 23 Eric Nord Way in the East College Street Courtyard behind Slow Train. This free, family-friendly community event will provide children and families with a safe and engaging space to create, play, and explore throughout the day. Access to restrooms, a changing table, air conditioning, local businesses, community partners, and a place to relax, chat, and play in the shade!

Families can enjoy games, activities, community resources, and art-themed literacy kits while supplies last. The Kids Zone will also feature a child-friendly art experience created by 2026 Chalk Walk featured artist Rebecca Boardman.

The event is designed to provide children and families with a safe, relaxing, creative space to play away from busy roads while celebrating art, literacy, and community connection in downtown Oberlin.
